The men are called on an ‘as needed’ basis for service projects both in the church and community. Twice a year, the men of WRPC venture to North Carolina to the PCA Camp at Ridge Haven to assist in construction and repair of the facility. All costs are covered by the camp and the work provides a wonderful opportunity to serve the PCA as well as to build life long friendships among the men of WRPC.
Occasionally, the men participate in a short term mission trip to one of our missionaries to support in teaching or diaconal ministry. In the past, we have traveled to Tuscaloosa to assist with tornado damaged houses, to Clinton to help with a housing project, and we continue to help our brothers at Ridgehaven - the PCA campground - with various projects.
Typically we have two camp-outs per year: one with fathers and sons, and another with fathers and daughters. Dates and times are announced through the Visionary, pulpit and emails.
