Each Sunday morning at 11:20, the adults of WRPC meet with their “Shepherding Group” for prayer and instruction. We also call this Sunday School, and it’s just one more opportunity to glean from the teaching of God’s Word. Topics change each year and normally run on a 10-week rotation.

In January and July, our adult classes take a break from the normal routine to have our “J-TERM” sessions. Each session is 3-4 weeks long and is biblically focused on particular topics.

For our visitors, the Intro to WRPC Sunday School class is available. This class is 16 weeks long and runs continuously throughout the year with a few breaks mixed in. It is geared towards visitors and is required for those who seek membership at WRPC. The class offers a biblical framework for our doctrines and practices, and is beneficial even if you do not become a member of WRPC. It can help you determine what YOUR biblical framework, doctrines, and practices are, and can assist you in distinguishing what church is right for you. The topics covered in the Intro to WRPC class are:

  • Denominations & Confessionalism

  • Revelation & Authority of Scripture

  • The Sovereignty of God

  • Man, Sin & Salvation

  • Covenant Theology

  • Faith, Repentance & the Gospel

  • Role of the Law in the Life of a Christian

  • The Lord’s Day & Worship

  • Oaths & Vows — Marriage & Membership
