Francisco Cardoso, who is a pastor on staff at Woodruff Road PCA, is part of the Mission to Brazil, which is a ministry that is committed to plant reformed and Presbyterian churches in the northeastern region of Brazil, specifically Recife. After attending Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, he returned to Recife to plant a church — Reformed Presbyterian Church of Recife — where he is the pastor. This church has been serving as a biblical model for the planting of daughter churches in Limoeiro and Iputinga. There is a great need for a Reformed understanding of the Gospel in the northeastern region. This region is predominantly Roman Catholic, which condones paganism, is the poorest area in Brazil, and has a population of 49 million (3 million in Recife). It is estimated that only one percent of the population is evangelical. The church in Recife is currently praying for the ability to purchase land to build a church, which is their greatest need.

Roger Dye joined Mission to the World’s (MTW) church-planting team in Vina del Mar, Chile in 1998. In April of 2006, a mission church plant — La Iglesia Presbiteriana de Renaca — was established with a session and diaconate. The team was also involved in church planting, evangelism, discipleship, and outreach to those with disabilities through the ministry centre. Roger preaches, teaches seminary, and trains local pastors. Laura, who helps her husband with his ministry, also teaches the women. One of their passions is to teach about the Biblical family. On April 22, 2011, one of the long awaited phases of the Dye’s ministry was fulfilled, that is, the establishment of a national presbytery in the region. On that morning of April the two Presbyterian mission-status churches in Vina del Mar celebrated the official beginning of the Iglesia Presbiteriana en América, Chile. After a extended furlough in the states raising support, the Dyes returned to Chile on July 12, 2011.

Octavius Delfils, a graduate of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, is currently rebuilding a reformed and Presbyterian ministry in Haiti with help from the Orthodox Presbyterian Church’s missionary Ben Hopp and Word and Deed missionary Randy Lodder. Delfils is pastoring a new church in the Delmas section of Port-auPrince: Reformed Presbyterian Church of Haiti. This church is a joint effort between the PCA and OPC. The ministry’s primary objective is the establishment of a Reformed and Presbyterian Church in Haiti, along with a seminary to train men in the Scriptures. He's hopeful about the church's future, even while conditions in Haiti remain bleak. Delfils, who lost his home and a sister in the January 2010 earthquake, faithfully sees opportunities amidst tragedy.
