The men are called on ‘as needed’ basis for service projects both in the church and community.
Each year the men participate in a short term mission’s trip. Last year was in Tuscaloosa (pictured) to assist with tornado damaged houses, this year we went to Clinton (also pictured) to help with a housing project, and we plan to help our brothers at Ridgehaven - the PCA campground - with various projects.
Typically we have two camp outs per year, one with fathers and sons, another with fathers and daughters. Dates and times are announced through the Visionary, pulpit and emails.
Each year we participate in the Good News Club golf outing at various golf courses as a fund raiser for this ministry in which we are involved.
A disc golf tournament, bowling, whitewater rafting, a cook out by the fire, going to the races, are just some of the types of fellowship activities during the year.
